Heather Pray is an entrepreneurial-spirited experience creator and leader.
By day, she works in online media by working in email marketing, display advertising, CAN-SPAM and all that goes with it.
On the side, she leads the Houston contingent of Songs From A Room, making it the second U.S. city for this international movement.
She’s been bringing new experiences all the way from founding the US fan club for The Cure at 15, stage managing Yngwie Malmsteen and others at SXSW during her time at UT-Austin and introducing the burgeoning young professional and millennial scene in Houston to the art world by founding Houston Young People for the Arts.
She has also been involved in helping other young professional groups including acting as Chair for the past two years of Houston Grand Opera Opening Nights (O.N.) and helping lead it to its highest subscription level ever.
Since leaving the non-profit world, she hopes to continue to help non-profits reach new and younger audiences, be tech-savvy and think of new sources of funding.
